Cell Phone Mosiac 12/19

Happy Saturday. I needed a weekend like this one... relaxing, snowy, you know, before the craziness of the next week kicks in.
Yesterday I finished some major shopping and then went and had my nails done. I got home from work & shopping at 5:30 and then we joined Trevor's football team at the local Chinese place for drinks and food... some fun for the kids and relaxation however our time was cut short when hubby excused himself to the bathroom to throw up... he hasnt been feeling well for a few days... so we were home and in bed by 9:30.

Jocelyn slept at the neighbors last night and so this morning we actually all slept til 9:00 which is un heard of... we never sleep that late!! I got up and showered, then off to the store. Hubby and I thought we would hit our Super Walmart for groceries as well as a few last minute stocking stuffers but upon driving into the parking lot it was way too busy so we turned around and went to Shaws. It was still crazy there too.

We got our shopping done, flew home ( to a visit from my grandmother delivering cookies and gifts) and then we settled in to rest. I made a HUGE pot of chili, some mac and cheese for the kids and then Trevor and I started one of the few batches of Peppermint bark...

We then watched The Departed ( good Boston movie) and ate some Chili.

We are having an issue with the heat running at the same time as the hot water... taking a jacuzzi while we have all the thermostats on seems to not work well. We have had the hot water heater/boiler cleaned and its fine.... with the well water and the forced hot air I think they are just struggling to run at the same time... really stinks because its been about 5 degrees here for the last few days and I really wanted a HOT jacuzzi... will have to call the plumber again Monday!

Hope you all have a great Sunday... we are due to get a major storm tonight into tomorrow and so we will be resting and baking all day. I also really must get wrapping as well!!
