Its a wonderful Friday here in Mass and though we are all sick with the Swine Flu, I am going to attempt a Friday Fragments !! I cheated a bit and posted a quick video that fits right in with a little fragment of MY life here in the Crazy House.
Along with that...
1.) Why is it that canned soup really sucks? I make a mean homemade chicken soup and a pretty good beef stew BUT while sick this week I totally did not feel like cooking. I enlisted the help of Campbells and Progresso but darn if it just wasnt as good as my own!
2.) My teen has a mountain of laundry growing in her room . Its pretty bad when even she cant tell what is clean and whats dirty. I tried to cut her a little slack this week as she has been sick since last Thursday but come this morning I about freaked out on her... really... it was getting to be a bit much! I think I heard something making noise under all that stuff...
3.) My poor son... he is the only one who was vaccinated and isnt sick. He was trying to take care of us but having a 7 yr old using the stove really isnt a good idea so this morning he attempted to make me a bagel ( which I couldnt even eat because I was so sick) but hey, its the thought that counts, right?
4.) I swear even my dogs are acting weird. They must know we are all sick because they keep sniffing us ( more than usual) and pacing around the house... utterly annoying!
5.) Some bloggers just arent very nice! I am refusing to go into detail here but really... I have spent a lot of time on Twitter and Facebook while sick this week and man oh man... some bloggers are relentless and mean! Thats just not cool here in Our Crazy House!!
That leads me into the next segment in my Fridays Post.... ( cuz ya know I cant do just ONE Meme on Fridays!!( especially since I am home sick!!)

Hmmm. Glad I haven't been on the negative this week. I too try and stay pretty positive over here. I am TOTALLY trying that twisted frosty with M&M's this weekend. MMM! Sounds wonderful. Almost as good as a choc chip cookie dough blizzard! I think Mr. Linky accepted my link. I'll try back later.

Speaking from the Crib is also funny, she can use some coarse language at times but she is hilarious...Not bashing at all.
And also Chief...hilarious! I love her! so funny.

Hey so glad ya'll are recovering well.. I am choosing to not vaccinate but like you I support each mom's choise because well, it's their choice, each mom is different.. I totally agree bashing SUCKS .. I prefer forgetting for just amoment i was saved and lay hand on them adn not to pray , j/k rofl but ya have to admit there are days ya wanna do that lol... Love teh vlog go you... love the doggie clip I have one of our big fat mama cat licking hubby's head one night on the couch it was too funny...
With the laundry situation, you've got to pop over to my blog for a great idea. Had the same problem with my son and we cleared it right up! Check my post "Cruel and Unusual Punishment".

dude- sucks you're sick! I agree with you vaccinating your son because of his asthma- I would have,too.
I'm sooo with you on canned soup- what's with that? I ate it as a kid and don't remember it tasting like ass, but it does. I make LOTS of soup.
Our dog licks my husband's head like that, too- I think he likes the taste of his sweat.

I hope you are all feeling better soon!! I never get a flu shot, but I never get the flu either. It is good to see (by your son's experience) that it's working!
Mean bloggers? That's terrible! I've always (so far) found the blogging world to be almost bizarrely kind, polite and inspirational. Did you stumble across a mean group, or did they come to you? To bad either way!

Oh you poor thing! Sorry your whole family (except the 7 yr old) have been sick...not fun!! Glad you're starting to feel better! :)
Princess Nagger is getting the H1N1 flu shot through her school - there have been a few confirmed cases so the school offered to vaccinate all the kids for free with parental permission...I signed the permission slip right away. :)

And hopefully soon everyone will be on the mend. Maybe if you had some real chicken soup....our local grocery store does a pretty decent job with their homemade soup, maybe you could try something like that?

Congrats on making it to the couch last week :) I hope that today you are feeling much better. I'm very glad your son made it through without getting flu, too.
I think you should hang out with some of MY bloggy buddies, because I have never, ever come across any catty, bitchy bloggers or FBr's, although I'd like to know who gave Yaya a hard time, because I'd like to choke him/her! Grrr.
